Kevin Ainsworth is a Partner with GuideCap with over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financings, valuations, and fairness opinions. Mr. Ainsworth’s primary focus is on growth and innovation companies and the unique challenges they experience. Mr. Ainsworth has significant sector experience in software, technology, business services, and healthcare. Prior to GuideCap, Mr. Ainsworth was a Principal with a Silicon Valley investment bank with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for public and private technology companies. Previously, Mr. Ainsworth was V.P. of Business Development of a telecom equipment company where he was responsible for acquisitions, strategic partnerships and joint ventures. Mr. Ainsworth began his career in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young. Mr. Ainsworth received his B.A. in finance and accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds an Accreditation in Business Valuations.

Todd Anders

Todd Anders is a Partner with GuideCap with over 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, structuring, negotiations, and international transactions. Mr. Anders’ industry experience includes consumer & retail, industrials, and manufacturing & distribution. Prior to GuideCap, Mr. Anders was the Executive Director of International Investment Strategies for the Carlson Companies a $30 billion company with holdings in numerous industries. Mr. Anders led the international expansion strategy into 50 countries which was accomplished through acquisitions, direct foreign investment, strategic partnerships and franchising. Previously, Mr. Anders practiced securities law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and general business representation. Mr. Anders has served as an adjunct professor of Business Law at Southern Methodist University. He received his B.S. in Business and B.A. in Economics from Centenary College of Louisiana, his J.D. from Baylor University Law School, and his M.B.A. and L.L.M. from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Anders is a frequent speaker on exit strategies and mergers and acquisition related topics.

Samuel Scott

Samuel Scott is a Vice President with GuideCap with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, valuations, research and fairness opinions. Prior to GuideCap, Mr. Scott worked in the corporate finance group for Ericsson North America, a provider of mobile networks, multimedia solutions and telecom services. At Ericsson, Mr. Scott served in roles related to financial analysis, projections, and strategic planning. Prior to Ericsson, Mr. Scott worked as an investment banking analyst with a focus in marketing, media, and retail. Mr. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Andrew Hansen

Andrew Hansen is a Senior Manager with GuideCap with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and valuations. Mr. Hansen's valuation expertise includes complex securities, option pricing methods, and Monte Carlo simulations. Prior to GuideCap, Mr. Hansen served as an analyst for S&P Global Ratings, a provider of credit ratings, market intelligence, and investing tools. Mr. Hansen also served as an analyst for the Baylor Angel Network (BAN), a disciplined investor network that actively invests in early stage companies. While at BAN, Mr. Hansen personally evaluated and qualified over one hundred early stage companies for recommendation to the network’s angel investors. Mr. Hansen received an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategy from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, and a B.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Baylor University. Mr. Hansen is a CFA® charterholder.

Connor Volz

Connor Volz is a Manager with GuideCap with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and valuations. Prior to GuideCap, Mr. Volz served as an analyst for Panattoni Development Company, an industrial real estate developer. While at Panattoni, Mr. Volz facilitated underwriting and proforma modeling for Class A industrial projects. Mr. Volz also served as an analyst at PetroCap, LLC, an oil & gas private equity firm, where he was responsible for business development efforts and financial modeling.
